Definitely start with the original... Then play this guy. Otherwise the new changes will kinda be underappreciated. I feel like this hack is more for Shining Force 1 and 2 veterans

Hack appears to include a character from a whole other franchise (Rune from Phantasy Star IV), so *some* liberties might have been taken here. Feels like a hack you'd play after experiencing the original so you can appreciate the differences.
