A free PC side‑scrolling platformer released by Atlus Japan as part of the 25th anniversary of the Megami Tensei series. The game was available as a limited‑time download on Atlus’s official site from October 16 to December 24, 2017, and is no longer officially distributed. It features Jack Frost and Jack‑o’‑Lantern (Pyro Jack), lets you switch between them during exploration and combat, and incorporates elemental weakness mechanics in a Metroidvania style format. The game received positive feedback and even an unofficial English fan‑patch by Brento_Bento

BTW, both the English and Japanese versions show two false positives on Virustotal. Nothing to worry about as far as I can see.

The Japanese version of the game was sent over was from a wayback machine archive of the official Atlus website when the game was available to download.

The translation doesn't modify the exe just a dat file that holds the text of game. I'm pretty sure that the false positive was brought up when the game was released, 8 years ago. They did do some updates to the game file, but because they only had it up for a limited time finding different versions is hard.

Also just wanted to note the translation patch used is considered version 1.04 if there was a version after that I couldn't find it.

wait this is look like a game I played called (BLADE CHIMERA) released 2025
is this the prototype for (BLADE CHIMERA) because it's made from the same studio Ladybug
if you ask me about this game is worthplaying
I am only going to say it's one of my top 5 best games now

Fun fact: The word "synchronicity" introduced by Carl Jung's psychology theories that SMT series took inspirations from so hard that they turned some of his theories into video games.

So synchronicity means "a weird coincidence that happened but there is no real connection between the two whatsoever". For example thinking about this game and then after few hours seeing this game being uploaded here is a topic of synchronicity lol.

Due to synchronicity sometimes people start to think "I see number 4 everywhere then it means I'll die" when in reality it's simply a coincidence despite how meaningful and personal it may make you feel!!!

In deep down this is just "what the word is about" when the idea itself deeper than that!!! Carl Jung would say "seeing number 4 everywhere" and you associate it with your own death would be a "synchronistic event". This is not prophecy, but it's about your unconscious mind "floating up" an idea to your consciousness because of "some reason". It makes the idea an active memory therefore active memory make your brain have more attention to the idea. However there is really no "significant" reason for it because for whatever reason an idea may be triggered just because of another idea. For example reading about "an apple" may make you remember what happened in your childhood regarding an apple and thus this memory can make other memories activated despite your mind doesn't notices. It's just the way we sometimes "see X" everywhere just because it's the element of our selective filter because its memory is active and therefore our brain tend to be "able to see it" when normally you actually don't notice it or even if you had notice it wouldn't mean anything to you. So when the coincidence "means something to you" it's a topic of synchronicity.
