OH BOY, strap in, it's going to be quite long:
This dream is a continuation of one I had a long time ago. It’s basically about me—I lost my sister and I’ve been trying to bring her back to life. I’m from present-day Earth, but after discovering that I had supernatural powers, a group called the Defenders of Time brought me about 523 years into the future. I spent a long time fighting alongside them, hoping to find something that could save my sister, but nothing worked. Eventually, I decided to quit protecting the universe and return to Earth after one of my companions warned me that a great evil, born of pure anger, was about to awaken and destroy everything.
When I got to Earth, people looked at me with suspicion and contempt. I went undercover, pretending to be someone who had just woken up from hibernation jelly. After waking up, I went to clean myself and there I met a silver-haired girl doing the same. Later, I came across other people, spent time talking to them, and tried to understand how much the Earth had changed.
After all this, my companion—the same one who brought me to the future—contacted me telepathically and told me to go to the Earth Defenders’ headquarters to speak with the manager. So I went. When I got there, I was greeted by this weird, bug-like alien butler who asked me what I wanted. I told him I needed to speak with the manager, and he agreed to take me.
We walked to the right side of the base floor office desk, through an opening without any doors, and entered a kind of elevator that reminded me of the cryojell, except this one was more yellow-orange and had strange buttons. When we arrived at the manager’s office, I said hello, and he greeted me back. What caught my eye was the nameplate on his desk—it had the same last name as mine. I immediately thought that must be why I was supposed to talk to him.
I told him I was a warrior, and that back in the Earth days I was known for my strength—and now I had woken up to fight again. He looked me up and down, then told me about an incoming invasion by plant-like monsters. He said if I was ready, I could form a team and help defend Earth. I agreed, and set off to find teammates.
As I walked through the new, futuristic city, I already had a good idea of who I wanted on my team: the silver-haired girl, the blond guy I saw waking up from cryojell, and a black-haired girl I had met. A few weeks passed, and the team was assembled. They were all nervous, but I reassured them: we’d win.
Just as I finished saying that, the monsters crashed into Earth’s HQ, sprouting out of their giant seeds. I told my team to follow the plan—and they did. I went straight for the leader: a humanoid plant creature covered in bark, with plants growing out of his shoulders, riding a bark-covered horse. He laughed maniacally, saying he’d destroy Earth and bring back the glory of their nation. I laughed in his face and started making jokes. Then, with one quick punch, I killed him. Everyone around me was shocked.
My teammates ran over, asking how I could be that strong. That’s when I saw a strange light glinting from the leader’s corpse. I walked over and picked it up—and suddenly, my sister’s voice spoke to me. She said she didn’t have much time, but that she loved me. She told me if I wanted to save her, I needed to collect more of these glowing rock-like things from other monsters like him who would soon begin invading. I promised her I would. She smiled, then went back to sleep.
Right then, my defender companion contacted me again. He told me to immediately go kill the Wrath of the Universe, who was about to wake up in a rage. He sent me the coordinates, and without a word to my team, I jumped into the sky and flew straight there.
It was a massive underground bunker, dimly lit, with a huge corpse lying at the center. The being looked like Darkseid, but with a red hue and a squarer face. I started removing some of my seals and got serious. I charged in with a giant punch—it connected and woke him up. The fight was brutal, our fists clashing endlessly, his laughter growing louder and louder. I’d had enough. In a surge of rage, I struck a final punch straight into his chest. His body opened, and he took his last breath.
The companion contacted me again. He congratulated me but warned that I had revealed too much of my true strength, and that soon I’d be meeting the Director of Earth. I laughed and said, “What’s there to hide anymore?” and started heading back.
Sure enough, the insect butler appeared again and told me the Director wanted to speak. I followed him. This time, instead of heading right, we went left. Again, we entered that jelly-like elevator. When we arrived, I saw the Director surrounded by a tray of food—onions, oysters, fish, fruits, sunflower seeds. “A glutton,” I thought to myself, but I ignored it and walked up to him. I shook his hand and said, “Hello, Director. What does your esteemed self want from me?”
He appreciated the formality and laughed a little. Then he got serious and asked the real questions: who was I really, and what was I doing here? I was blunt—I told him I came from another dimension, or rather, another galaxy, to help Earth through the upcoming threats. He laughed and asked why he would need my help, bragging that he had 900 million gigabytes of power (the power system in the dream was built upon bytes). I laughed back and told him that’s exactly why he needed me. Then I turned to the insect butler.
“Do you think I’m stupid?” I asked. “Why would the Director of Earth, the one meant to save it, be this careless? I think you’re the real Director.”
The insect smiled with his weird bug mouth and said I was right. He then asked for my power level.
“923 petabytes,” I told him. Then I added quietly to myself, “Maybe a bit more... if I really want to save her.”
That’s where the dream ended. Like I said, this felt like a part two of a dream I had a long time ago. What made this one interesting was how detailed it was. I actually had two dreams that night—one was about school, and the other involved my cousin being inside a TV show that somehow turned into real life, and me going to fix it.
I also have a faint feeling this might be another sequel to a dream I had years ago, but I’m not completely sure. One detail that stood out in this alien dream was the manager at headquarters—I think he might be a descendant of mine, someone from my bloodline who now carries the same last name.
And that’s the end of dream two.
