I've searched the subforum and haven't seen this yet (or at least haven't found it)

From my letterboxd account

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Fight Club
Monster's Inc (a tonal shift compared to the first two movies, I know)
Not sure what the fourth would be.

Blade Runner
The Blues Brothers
The Big Lebowski
Batman (1989)

Yes, they all start with the letter "B"! I noticed that ages ago, when I first thought about actually listing these things. Always thought it was kind of an odd coincidence. 😅

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade would be my fifth choice. Hey, it starts with a different letter! How about that...

My all time favorite movie is probably Delicatessen. Fantastically shot, amazing sets, great (dark) comedy, fun story. The director is probably better known for Amelie, but I prefer Delicatessen.

1. Blade Runner
2.Apocalypse Now
3. The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
4. Jurassic Park

Just 4?
Oh man... That selection is impossible to make... I'll limit myself to more or less recent films so as to counterbalance my usual cynicism regarding modern movies.

Triangle of Sadness
(pure, unadulterated genius - the second act is perfection)

Suspiria
(the best remake of a classic film I've seen in ages)

The Substance
(in-your-face gonzo exploitation that has an actual point to it, I went in blind and loved it)

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
(admittedly not all that recent, but man this is the perfect popcorn flick, I can't not have it on here)

I gotta throw one more out there, blanked on it earlier:

Dour, darkly comedic and tragic, extremely good acting, very human - it's a great one. Also another one that has an actual point to it.

Rogger rabbit, kung fu panda 2, And since I can't think of a third, let's just say that some...
