This game really conflicts me...

I want to love it (and there's a lot to love in there -- clever writing, stunning looks; an interesting plot...) but I feel like it keeps fighting me at every step.

Just finished the game. Some considerations.
Great graphics and pixel art.
Tons of secrets.
Very intuitive.
Many abilities and itens.
Many transformations each with it's own abilities.
Short game.
Weak combat.
Good game. 8/10.

imagine playing any game and having story cutscenes constantly interrupt gameplay. We need a rom hack for gameplay only. Freedom Planet has a mode where you can just play through levels without the story.

Keeping the GBA version as a collectors piece, buying the Switch version to play. May open it eventually, but for now, keeping it sealed.
