Ah okay so what you mean is basically letting it eat the cheap program so you could move on, then. Got it!
I bought the new Shadowrun trilogy on sale recently. Still need to try it.
I'd recommend them too like RageBurner has. They capture the feel of being a shadowrunner pretty well in the writing and vibe, and I really like some of the companion writing (the former punk singer in Dragonfall has always stood out to me, but I forget his name). The weakest thing about them I think is that there isn't much 'tactics' going on in the actual gameplay for me, but the RPG elements are really well done.I meant to reply to this too, before. These modern SR games are quite good, in my experience.
I think so, just in a different way. Much of the dystopian stuff in Shadowrun is a result of the magical fantasy elements going on in it, while Cyberpunk of course has none of that and is pure "high tech = low-life" dystopian hellscape. Just imagine Disney, but it's actually owned by a literal dragon and you can just be going for a walk one night and get your soul eaten by an insect spirit. Terrifying.Hey, guys, do you think Cyberpunk 2077 has successfully achieved the same idea of a dystopian world as Shadownrun?
Hey, guys, do you think Cyberpunk 2077 has successfully achieved the same idea of a dystopian world as Shadownrun? Because honestly, I was also in the hype of the game and I bought it believing that I would have that teenage experience with Shadownrun but with the graphics and power of the new generation... I was super disappointed. Then the game got better, but...
A sad world indeed, probably couldn't even recruit a street sam.I've been to the space needle, but unfortunately I couldn't recruit any hackers there.
Much less become one, which is also sad.A sad world indeed, probably couldn't even recruit a street sam.

They also didn't have any mod shops. I was really looking forward to the cybernetic claws.
All I can think about now is Niles and Frasier talking about clashing street samurai ruining their chance to attend the opera that night. They also didn't have any mod shops. I was really looking forward to the cybernetic claws.
Embrace the way of the burnout, brother. But but but... You're a mage with your pointy hat and stuff. You'd loose essence...
Dermal plating is pretty sick, and would probably be the least nightmarish of recovery time realistically compared to some of the other options. It also doesn't damage your soul that much (I think it was like rating x 0.5 in 4 at least). The armored skin would be nice.
That reminds me I only played the first of the modern PC trilogy. I should give the others a look. It would be awesome to have a procedural mission module or something, too.
It's mostly User Generated Content that was going in the direction of procedural stuff. No idea if it ever got off the ground. I don't have the patience for X-Com, to be honest.
In my opinion, no. Cyberpunk 2077 doesn't have the right vibes at all. The game has a really weird "hello fellow kids" vibe, like a 60 year old rock fan in a leather jacket trying to relate to the youth at a college party. The visual vibe and the writing really, really didn't do it for me and the game felt like it completely missed the mark and had no identity. I also couldn't stand V's dialogue options and the way he/she was performed and written, just a really meathead character that had me cringing hard no matter what dialogue option I picked. The whole game feels like it has weird awkward translation layer over everything where it feels like either the dialogue was originally written in Polish or that English wasn't any of the writers native languages. I was very disappointed in Cyberpunk 2077, very soulless feeling game and even after all the patches and DLC it's incredibly buggy.Hey, guys, do you think Cyberpunk 2077 has successfully achieved the same idea of a dystopian world as Shadownrun?
