I'm looking for something with a very specific vibe. Mainly games like Hellnight, ...iru!, or, in some capacity, the first Silent Hill.

I've already played through the famous classics, like Parasite Eve, RoR, Haunting Ground, Koudelka, Galerians, etc. None of them really scratched that itch. (save for Koudelka, but in a different way).

Resident Evil Survivor series can be terrifying under the right settings. Baroque isn't scary but tense and dense in atmosphere but requires heavy reading outside of the game. Kuon is also a good contender in atmosphere and Forbidden Siren alone will scare you from the photo screened faces on the models and jank.

Oh man I love Baroque. One of my favorites, definitely. Hoping for a Baroque Syndrome translation!
