it's definetly not the classic arcade sprites and effects we all know and love from mvc2 or svc2, but it still looks really good, especially for a fan project with less than 2 years of development, both gameplay and graphic wise

This is just the beginning. Developing such an ambitious game from scratch is very difficult; rather than embarking on a risky development process and abandoning the project, it is better to start with something—seemingly—simple but solid, built on a strong foundation. It is a game that will improve over time, but it will be a long process.

The game is still in heavy development, but it's always good to have backups of the current releases. Who knows when a lawyer gets bored and starts sending DMCA.
