Why hasn't anyone Translated the Saturn version of Assault Suit Leynos 2 to English? There is very rushed steam version in English. When I say it is rushed I mean. The steam version is pretty much unplayable. It came out and went straight to sale. Please just add the English from Steam Version to the Saturn version. Then Boom you have a Playable version. It should be a straight forward thing.

Unfortunately, it's not really a straightforward thing (like anything that's related to games)
Because if it is, then many games that aren't available in English would have it's own translations already. Either because of the coding or something else that makes it hard

Eh, no my friend. It is exactly the opposite of a straightforward thing. It requires doing a lot of things that are very time consuming since fan translators/hackers are working without access to the source code. It takes a lot of time to reverse engineer the code and modify the game to support the English language when it doesn't natively. And I'm not sure there are a lot of tools out there for Saturn rom hacking.

Necro post...
I wonder if there's a way to take the file in the Steam version that's in English and get it to work on a Saturn

There is but like I said before it takes a lot of boring and time consuming reverse engineering of the Saturn disc game files. Its not a trivial copy paste, that's for sure.

Too bad it's not just a standard bin/cue file. I was hopeful, but when I opened the cue file it's was a novel of gibberish, loll

There's a good chance its encoded, have fun figuring out what type of encoding though.
