Saturn Sega Ages Fantasy Zone

Its seems there is a buried treasure out there somewhere! This game will be really cool on the Saturn.... Does anyone know what the story is? I'm not seeing any viable download links for it )

If I'm not mistaken, that was a Japanese only port of Fantasy Zone. You can definitely find it on Internet Archive (while it's still a thing, bleh). The repo has multiple other versions if you search for Fantasy Zone, I don't know if there was anything unique to the console collections, I've only really played the arcade game.

About that, I'm just trying to get the STV game going on RetroArch with Kronos. Its going to a nifty red error screen with OpaOpa running along the bottom. Just saying 'Error 10: ROM has changed' & 'Press RESET to reboot'. Only allowing me to quit out. Any thoughts?

No idea, like I said I've only played it in the arcade. Haven't emulated it personally. Might try your luck with MAME instead of Kronos though.

Yea it looks really good on the Saturn with some little extras in the options too. Got me thinking that I can see what put it it the top ranking for Japanese arcade machine turnover, ever. Its lighthearted, yet punishing actually requiring alot of concentration. Turbo mode is a must I think!!
