Any games that made you rage quit only to pick up again and finished it because you are bored to your wits.

Resident Evil Gaiden. Back during my rather painful upbringing, my folks were forcing me to study and took my games away that they barely let me play to begin with, but they forgot to take my Gameboy Color. So I played Gaiden behind my textbook when I was too burned out to properly study. It was a confusing and cryptic game that I had previously dropped, but it was a fine distraction from how shit my life was at the moment. Actually beat it too. Honestly not a bad game if you're very patient.
