I remember watching AVGN's review of Hong Kong 97 when I was young and being shocked with the game over screen of what looks like to be an irl dead person I think.

yeah, it's a legit photo of a dead man. there's quite a few comments on the video of avgn's talking about it. the man was an unfortunate victim of a civil war that was going on in a country called Bosnia.
