It's kind of depressing, really...

So, let's do something about it!

Basically: say something positive about the above poster, whether it is something you like about them personally, the contributions they have made, the energy they bring to the board... it doesn't really matter, as long as it is genuinely positive.

Well, Samantha is everywhere on these forums and I honestly love it. I don't have a ton of time to be on the internet like I used to, but I love the fact that I can come on here and see something— whether it be a comment or a post you made— that actually sparks genuine thoughtful discussion, such as this very post here.

I remember the internet as tight-knit communities, where, even if you never met anyone for real, you would make friends with the most unlikely people that you would never meet in a thousand years otherwise. That kinda disappeared as people funneled into Twitter, Reddit, Discord... so I love being able to just come on and look somewhere and see people I know. I just logged on and my first thought was literally "Oh, Sam posted here, looks like it's something worth paying attention to." It's that tight knit sense of community, and you're one of the people around here that really helps create that feeling.

I like that lestagio's avatar is 8-bit Mario because there is not a single person on Earth who sees the classic 8-bit Mario and doesn't smile. Also, it shows they're is a person of culture and they respect the classics.

I haven't interacted much with Thanonyx, but they seem pretty chill. I haven't really seen them starting trouble or anything of the sort.

I also like their style, and I appreciate their commitment to it.
