Final fantasy 13 is far from the WORST FF game, has a better story almost the ENTIRE FRANCHISE,
the only game with a better stories are FF5, 6, and 9
everyone says FF13 was boring, easy, and a hallway sim, it's none of those things to me, and anyone who REALLY played all of FF13-1, knows there's a big ass continent area near like half the game (and available post game entirely) with so many mark missions (boss fights)
FF10 feels WAY more hallway-like to me in comparison (FF10 is my least favorite FF game)
FF7 remake (part1) was ALSO way more hallway like on rails than FF13
FF13 has one of the HARDEST post game boss fights i've ever seen in a JRPG, even with CHEESE strats and being fully entirely maxed out, it's so fucking annoyingly hard.
not once did i think FF13 was boring, easy, OR bad, in fact i'm disappointed of every game after.
13-2 pretty much i have zero complaints for outside of ALWAYS playing noel and serah the entire game, it was still really good.
lightning returns... least the gameplay was fun, story was just... well you know how movie sequels milk a plot too much, yeah lol.
i did 10 (!!) playthroughs of lightning returns via new game plus, stats all capped
i mean 10 FULL 100 PERCENT ALL SIDE QUESTS RUNS, because the game only gives stat gains by completing quests, main or side. no exp pts or levelling here.
