Lobsters are biologically immortal.
They don't exhibit typical aging signs, and instead often die when moulting because it takes more and more energy each time because it makes them grow, and they'll eventually reach a point when moulting will kill them due to exhaustion.

That's actually more or less what the term biological immortality means, as it's unrelated to chronoligical age. Some jellyfish species replenish their cells after they reproduce.

As for the lobsters, it's because they don't "grow old" in that they don't become slower or infertile etc. and the restore their DNA by something more big-brained than I know how to describe lol, and might instead die because they get crushed inside their own shells, or stop moulting entirely and die from stuff like infection.

Woolly mammoths still existed when the pyramids were being built.
Calculus wasn't part of the University of Cambridge's curriculum when it first opened, because it wouldn't be invented until about 500 years later.

Not crazy facts on their own, but they're cool when juxtaposed to another event like that.

Not sure how fun of a fact this is but Mara Wilson (from Matilda fame) is first cousins w/ Ben Shapiro.

More than 80% Of the ocean is undiscovered, which means any mythical, ancient, massive or downright terrifying creature could be living down in there as we speak. Along with any other sort of undiscovered species or who knows maybe even civilization
