It's brutal tho, twice as hard as a NES Castlevania. Even the translation team struggled to play it and that was what delayed the patch for a while back then

Damn, this is discouraging, people often label NES Mega Man as difficult but I don't agree, NES Castlevania however, way too difficult, Mega Man is cakewalk in comparison.

A lot of fun and it's got decent physics for a castlevania clone. I swear the music wins me over even right on the first level it's really good. So far still my favorite PC-98 game. "And don't call me miss. I am rusty."

Is DOS version translated too? DOS ver has more eyecandy graphics.

Sadly only the PC-98 version ever received a translation. I bet it probably wouldn't be too hard to port the script over into the DOS one, but I'm not knowledgeable about that sorta thing

There's a lot of good PC-98 titles we missed since that section didn't exist until just recently. I'll post one more key title that a lot of users may know about and will appreciate, but then take a break from PC-98 in order to not flood the hell out of the site with them
