(EN) That's a famous pirate cartridge everybody from my generation with a SNES or frequent in rental houses played back then! And I had no idea about the story behind this game, which I thought had been an official release until just now. I recommend the VICE […]

Those were made in Peru, that explains the bad portuguese all around.
Lines like "Saque do Goleiro" (instead of Tiro de Meta, which means Goal Kick) and the awkward portuñol were a staple at early 90s/2000s videogame culture here in Brazil.
i don't know about the portuguese language, but now i know that the peruanos made bootlegs, that's new

I heard they were made in Bolivia.

Tu mandou pra caralho mano, ficou mó bom!

Are you telling me that Brazilians were making bootlegs since back then ?

The whole story of tectoy officially creating alternative versions of sega games in the master system/mega drive era started with a unauthorized hack of wonder boy if I'm not wrong! xD Altough this one is from Peru.

There were various ISS hacks made by Eaglesoft, both for the original ISS and for the sequel (ISS Deluxe). Some even were based on the original japanese version, with saves instead of passwords and more commentator lines, but those are rare to find.
