Not sure if it's my particular choice of patch (MM8 Style + Flow) or emulator (RetroArch w/Genesis Plus GX & Pico Drive cores), but this hack seems bugged during the Wily stages of MM1. Stage 1 has water physics through the whole stage, which is actually kinda funny and makes the stage easier, however, Stage 2 is unplayably slow, like, less than 1FPS. Weirdly enough this only affects when Roll is on-screen (from the moment she starts teleporting in), if you bring up the weapon menu the speed is fine there, and so is the music, but yeah, this makes this part unplayable unless you use fastforward but even then it's not ideal. Didn't have time to try anything else, will give the non-flow variant a try later.

I can confirm as I played this a few months ago, played in FF mode and still barely playable, it lasts throughout Wily's Castle levels 2 & 3, I dunno why this happens, tried different cores, different versions (I personally prefer MM1+Flow) but yeah this is unfortunate, I'd like to know if there is a fix.

Don't know if it's worth mentioning or important to bring up since I keep seeing these Refill Weapon Hacks, and people seem to still be saying that the game can still feel laggy despite all these patches.

Has anyone tested out HPman's Romhack (Well known Genesis/Mega Drive Homebrewer/Romhacker) patch for Wily Wars/Mega World that came out back in July?

I did not see this post, I played through the game a few weeks ago and in Wily's stages of MM1 the lag goes insane, the minute you reach the yellow devil the game runs at one frame per second, no joke, I was playing while holding fast forward and still playing in slow motion, do these patches fix the game? If so I will reapply the patches.

Flow lets you slide in all 3 games, mega buster is faster and you can have 5 buster shots on-screen at once.
