ok then cause if i do this on tooie and banjo becomes a pancake im blaming you.If you're asking how high the jump has to be, pretty much the moment kazooie stops hitting the ground is good, full control of the direction too.
Of you're asking how high you can be for the damage to not occur, it doesn't matter
I'm probably going to just try to get enough of the jiggies/notes to just make my way to the end of the game.

I've never played Banjo Kazooie so it'll be a fun one to play
