Its nearly October so its nearly time for another RGT Nostalgia Society.

Each month we play through a game together here on the forum, and now its time to nominate October games for the poll thread.

NEW RULE: nominations must be on the Repo or they won't count. Please include a repo link with your nomination.

also its not a rule but its spooky month so maybe horror games? ::winkfelix

My Nomination: Resident Evil 3: Nemesis

I mean, I'm already playing this but might not hurt to throw into the mix anyway:
Not horror-y per se, but definitely has that kind of "Coraline" spooky Halloween vibe to it.

Personally I wish that instead of there being just one game that you all nominate and try to beat, we had a dedication forum where people can set up and do a game club for a bunch of different games where we tried to get 2-5 active people to play. It's something that a fantasy book club does on goodreads, and I think it's a much better experience.

I would actually be down for this. For some reason I beat 60 percent of the game on steam then dropped it. I think there's a bit where you have to farm currency and I got bored.

Either way, wouldn't mind another crack at it.

Very nice game. I felt the tension at several points in the game, and I admit I didn't expect it. Thanks for the translation patch!
Ooo never heard of this. Another interesting choice ::peacemario

If there is, then I'm not up to it yet hehe I have been hoarding the in-game currencies though, so hopefully it doesn't become an issue ::sailor-embarrassed

Not really horror but spooky adjacent, one of my favorite games, feels like cbt level difficulty at first but is actually pretty fair once you're tuned into the game.

Do be mindful of those with poor hardware when making your nominations. Or don't.

What kind of Hardware are you working with?
Well, my emulator "console" can't run its N64 library at all and requires specific PS1 emulator cores for certain games, and my laptop is likely marginally better as I haven't had problems emulating the one GameCube game I've ever attempted, but none of the windows DS emulators cut corners enough that Professor Layton doesn't lag, so the emulator box has it beat for DS, sorta.
