And thanks for the heads up @DanCalibur I made a savestate just before just to see what the dialogue was and what a huge asshole Tristan was. I still have my Tiara Tristan :P It is such an unfair beginner's trap

Last night got through trial of strength.

And got through part of courage (got the morningstar), but the slime walls drained me and had to warp out, almost wiped thinking I could go a little further. Damn, I can't imagine playing this game not always having an angel feather... Well, time to gear up and get back at it.

Me. I went through the trial of courage without a feather last night. On accident, I forgot to buy one again after using one. Made it through but it was horrible and not recommended. At least don't be me, pretending you don't need to map as you go.

Me. I went through the trial of courage without a feather last night. On accident, I forgot to buy one again after using one. Made it through but it was horrible and not recommended. At least don't be me, pretending you don't need to map as you go.

That's crazy. Also, lol I almost did the same thing, forgetting an angel feather. I had spent so much time menuing and organizing everything else I forgot O_o But once I entered I was like, "wait a minute, did I forget something"

Congrats! Carrying at least one Angel Feather is pretty much a necessity....well, unless you're throughdarkness traversing the cave of courage (!!) of all places xD

lmao, it was definitely not on purpose. I got lost and was like "dang, its late and I need to save my game, I'll pick this up tomorrow.". Went use it and nope... forgot to buy one. Lucked out and found my way to the portal. Not a very forgiving game but I will say that success rates of escaping battles is a life saver.

Even after Pyra learn the Spell Egress around level 12 it's still a good idea to keep an angel wing handy just in case she gets KOd

I just walked down the hallway and Sea Stallion almost beat me to death, if slow didn't land I'd be dead. It hits for like ~50 ! Guess I need more grinding

I did last night with trial of truth that @throughdarkness did with courage: forgot a damn angel feather >_< It was epic! This was only my second trip and wanted to finish it and so was completely beat to hell (over extended, banking on angel feather), no MP left due to slime walls cause wanted the battle axe

Okay cool, now to use my angel feather... OH SHIT! Alright, let's not panic, we are pretty strong (thorn whip doing serious work!) And I fight my way back and then... FUCK! I forgot I now have to fight this asshole in dire straights O_O (screenshot is obviously not from this particular encounter)

You can see how fucking close this was... Milo and and Pyra had to drag my corpse back to town >_<

I also love in this game how you aren't "fainted" or exhausted or w/e. You're fucking dead! O_o
