One hint for the beginning, once you kill the first boss and get the Royal Tiara, don't speak with Tristan or he will take it from you and that's a very solid helmet early on. You can talk to him again as soon as you get the other party members.

Even tho I really like the visuals and music of the game, I'm skipping this time. I HATE old dungeon crawlers. They're too unfriendly and unforgiving. Instead, I'm going to go through my beautiful and beloved Labyrinth no Kanata (3DS) once again

Awesome game, word of warning, it gets extremely hard late game. The difficulty curve is steep with this one, it took almost fifty hours for me to beat the game when I reviewed it.

The funny part is the game even has an automap but you can only access it partially with the spell View or wisdom seeds

Wait thats what the seeds are for? I don't even know where I got this thing from.

So far, I've wandered around the dungeon for ages and fought a giant crab that killed me twice.

I did hit level 8 and buy a bunch of improved equipment so...progress? I think?

Still no idea where the Princess or "my two friends" are tho lmao

Well I've spent an hour and a half wandering around aimlessly to die to a crab that came out of frakking no where. Not as hard as VS, but with about 100x more grinding lol. I love it.

Didn't realize how to save so had to start over.

I've managed to find my party and leveled up a bit more.

Full warning, your party starts out at level 1 no matter how high level you are when you find them, so try not to overlevel yourselves too quickly lmao

I like the music and these characters so far. Manages to feel relatively unique even if the battle system just feels like its come out of another Sega RPG lmao
