April is upon us and you'd have to be a fool to think that we wont be having another RGT Nostalgia Society. It's time to nominate the next game we all download and play.

If you don't know, this is a club here on RGT where each month we play a particular game together, and this thread is where we can all nominate games for the club to play together.

There is only 1 rule:

  • All Nominations must be from The Repo and contain a link to the downloadable file (or they won't count as a nomination)

Get nominating people and have fun!

ohh! Any pokemon game could be fun as we all share our teams as we go ^_^
I like that idea, have never played it. FF1-3 are only ones I haven't played as far as 1-12 (I'll never play 11 ::sadkirby ).
Ico (PS2)
Already have that one backlogged so like that choice as well! I remember a bumper from toonami about it ::heart

I figured it has enough ports, people got options and it doesn't matter which one they play 😅

I don't know if different versions of games are a thing they do on this though 🤔

We're getting a lot of good nominations this month. I might not even bother nominating anything all all
Consider me a 'returning recommender' 😂

Hmm...
Things I consider for the Society:
* A game accessible to many different people. This encompasses the various tastes of players, their time available to play, languages, and importantly their systems. I'd bet a lot of people are playing just on a phone or a handheld device so maybe I wouldn't suggest big 3D games with complicated controls.
* The genre presence in past choices. I see many RPGs, including last month's. In order to avoid fatigue with that kind of game, I'll aim for something different.
* The amount of content in the game. How long can it be played? Obviously an RPG is good for this which may explain why nearly half the past games are one. There's probably a sweet spot for games that can be beat by a dedicated player in a few weeks, but also enjoyed enough by someone only playing it for a couple hours a week total. Maybe games with NG+ modes, or secrets and challenges.
* What game do I want to play? Something on my backog, something I've tried a long time ago and wanna check out again?

Well, I think I have a nomination. GameFreak's

You can. Clocktower had multiple versions and qol hacks and everyone could choose whatever they want.

I'll have the poll thrown up on to the site in a few hours, so keep those noms coming people!!!
I'm not sure what to nominate as well. Adding link to make @χKai nomination for FF1 official ^_^

Did you like the action RPG gameplay of Crystalis? Want something bigger, with more of a story, better music, and actual puzzles instead of just cryptic nonsense? Check out Alundra! It's closer to Zelda, but that ain't a bad thing.

I'm going to cheat a little and nominate 2 games as 1, one of those dual release games. Shin Megami Tensei Demikids Light and Dark
