I`m getting myself hands on Retroid Pocket 4 PRO tomorrow and it`s first time using Retroid Pocket 4 PRO for to be honest.
I`m really looking forward to use Retroid Pocket 4 PRO and see how the console are.
It`s it true it can play 3DS games, Wii games, Gamecube games and PS2 games?
Are the others so own Retroid Pocket 4 PRO?
How do I connect it to TV?
What micro SD card can it take?

I hope I post it in right thread, which I post it in wrong thread, Admin can move it to right thread.

I've had mine for about a year and I love it. I followed this guide (
) to get it set up and it works like a charm. I didn't make the guide, but it should answer most of your questions.

Happy Gaming!

I have the Retroid Pocket Flip, which is essentially the Pocket 3 with a clamshell design. I have been able to play Dreamcast, DS and some Gamecube games with only minimal slowdown. I would assume that with the upgraded specs perfomance would be better, but I think that some Wii and PS2 games might see framerate issues still unless you are able to configure it properly.

Here you go TC. Have a wicked good time, and give the finger to Uncle Mario.

What Retroid Pocket 4 PRO can play Switch games? like Fire Emblem three houses
Thank you for the link.

I would not recommend it for emulating Switch games. Anything that is playable on the Android emulators is more of a miracle than a guarantee.

How is it to play emulator games on Retroid Pocket 4 Pro? I'm talking about 3DS and Switch games.
I'm worried about lag and stuttering, bad sound.
I'm going to pay 2500 NOK for it and it's not fun to buy something that doesn't work that well.

Think of switch emulation as a bonus, it won't work flawlessly as you'll expect.

I decide not to buy Retroid Pocket 4 Pro since I was unsure about it and I don`t want to pay 2500 NOK for game console so won`t take games very well.

It only launches some, mostly less graphically advanced titles. You can forget about Fire Emblem, but I've tested Super Mario Bros Wonder, Mario vs Donkey Kong, Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp and Circuit Superstars, among others, and these games work very well.

Well, Retroid Pocket 5 and comparable rival products are no better. If you want to find something better then you need to target the higher price segment - SteamDeck, Lenovo legion GO, Asus ROG Ally...

I have a Retroid Pocket 4 Pro. As for GameCube, 3DS and Wii, all games work without any problems, PS2 too, although in some titles (like The Gataway or GT 4) you have to play with the settings a bit and reduce the resolution or switch the rendering from OpenGL to Vulcan (and vice versa in some games).
For the 3DS, the problem could be games that really use 2 screens actively, as the Retroid screen could be bigger.

I have plans to buy Steam Deck, Lenovo Legion Go, MSI Claw or Asus ROG Ally but I can`t afford it right now sadly.

I had one, never used it, was still wrapped, sold it and got the Odin 2 Pro instead. I definitely need a bigger screen, don't see so well anymore without reading glasses. Plus as I'm 2m tall I also have bigger hands and those smaller 5" handhelds are definitely not for longer use for me.

i got retroid pocket 5 and it can emulate switch so well only few newer title that doesn't run

NB i use custom rom called rocknix
