Retro toys from 80s and 90s

Vintage figures and stuff?

That sounds fun, I don't really have many left, they're in my attic in a bag, I've got figures on display, but they're modern ones for the most part, I just don't have the room for much so my grails are on display.

All modern though, Eva pop funkos, RAH EVA 01, 02. Macross Bandai DX Chogokin DYRL Hikaru VF-1S and some other bits and pieces.

All the old stuff sticks out like a sore thumb against these on my display, except for my takakatsu VF-1J rerelease, basically the G1 Jetfire, but Hikaru's TV colours.

A thread on old figures and toys would be pretty cool though. Might dig some out and post em on here.

got this for christmas one year its the ultimate.

All of my stuff is boxed up back in California, might dig some of it out when I get back in August. I mostly just have loose GI Joe figures and a bunch of random stuff from the mid-late 90s. No super rare anything, as far as I know. But it's always fun to see what people have.

I was about to say that I don't have any photos but I just discovered that I do have, its just that the quality is very low(1998-99 maybe?)

My Dad had (most likely still has, he doesn’t get rid of anything) a couple Star Wars action figures he’d let me play with, my favourite being the Jabba the Hutt one. I really liked toys with simple mechanics (the trap door can open), so I’d make up any excuse in my story to incorporate it.

I’m not and was not a big Star Wars fan, he is but only for the original trilogy. I just thought it was cool and liked (and still do) intricate toys.

The photo isn’t mine but it’s the same toy I played with, the ‘Star Wars 1983 Jabba The Hutt Playset’, looked it up for the name, date and photo and my goodness, didn’t know it was worth something (other then sentimental value and nostalgia)::nervous-prinny
