I was playing Bust-A-Move and listening to podcasts at the same time and I thought it was the ideal combination.

It’s kinda like using a fidget spinner because it keeps my hands busy while I absorb cool ideas in the podcast.

When something makes me stop pause podcast or game it really annoys me!

Like, when there are cutscenes, or I have to read dialogue, or switch to a menu to change items, it totally breaks my focus on the game.

What Retro Games were designed for chill vibe flow state sessions?

A lot of the skateboarding games either Tony Hawks or even the newer skate games had a pretty open free skate mode that you could just kill time with without having to navigate too many screens. There was a time when I finally had more games than I knew what to do with and would get frustrated and end up just free skating in skate 3 most of the time lol.

Free Skate Mode is a perfect example.

I also remembered Rush 2 had a Stunt Mode.

Maybe im not the best person to say because I relax with rhythm games and schmups but arcade racing games can be quite easy to just zone out to like OutRun 2006 and Ridge Racer

N++ is one of the easiest games to zone out to imo

Puzzle games are also killer but that can require a bit more focus so im not sure if that would work for ya
