The constant references, power ups and cheat codes are dope. The gameplay is actually good but I'd still prefer the sequel since they polished a ton of problems from this game. This one is still worth playing regardless
 
I didn't even know that this officially dropped for PSP at all.
I thought it was just the PSVita and PS3.
Interesting find.
They released this game on pretty much all the platforms at the time like a version for Wii and even NES.
 
Honestly, I had the opportunity to play it and it's fine to be a classic GTA-style game with a top-down perspective but in 8-bit and with references from recognized video game and entertainment franchises.

And also that this was the last game released from the PSP in the West (USA and Europe).
