Resident Evil Remake on Dolphin graphical issues

Hey all, id like to ask about the correct settings for resident evil in dolphin, as im pretty sure jill's eyelids shouldnt be popping out when its in a shadow like that. i believe ive ran into a similar problem with silent hill 3 on pcsx2 which was fixed by setting blending accuracy to full, but dolphin doesnt have anything like that. could someone help me out?

i actually do have the switch version, but i noticed there were a bunch of changes made to the presentation i dont really like so much

for one they got rid of the sickass "enter the survival horror" eyecatcher

Here's my general debugging flow:
Change the resolution to native, then test 2x, 3x and so forth until you see the glitch.
Change renderers, some games work better with DirectX, others OpenGL and then Vulkan.

Don't enable anything else if possible.

If the eyelids keep popping, it might just that particular Dolphin build.
Some Gamecube games require EFB to Texture option to be enabled for some rendering but I don't think this would fix it on RE:R.

Another, possibly weird solution would be to download the Wii port of RE:R.

Funny you should be playing this as I was running the GameCube version via Dolphin last night for nostalgic reasons as that game is the SOLE reason I literally begged for a GameCube in 2002 just for that game alone. I have the PC version modded with hi res backgrounds and the Retcon pack amongst several other mods but will always have a place in my heart for the GameCube version. I remember 13 year old me downloading a short preview video of it and being BLOWN away.
