I refuse to watch the awards. I feel so ashamed and embarrassed for being a Sonic fan. I'm sick and tired of everyone saying "Mario Kart World sucks because it does not have the feel as the other Mario Kart games." AAAAAANNNND Sony and Microsoft for destroying the awards ceremony with their boring awful ad campaigns to bait the judges and have their boring cinematic, dull gray graphics, narrative games to win.

Award shows are meaningless nowadays and they always were. Let people play games they truly love and not get death threats and negative responses from critics and so called fanboys.

imma be on Twitter cuz I have to bare witness to the fall of society plus the best independent journalists still fighting the good fight on there for more important things but that's besides the point. Awards & award shows hold no real weight to me. Everybody acts super weird when it comes to their faves and what games and game devs deserve what, actively campaigning against other games competing against their faves out of pure hate & pettiness a lot of time never playing those other games themselves which isn't just on Twitter but among streamers on Twitch which is another type of cesspool. That being said, i'll be on Twitter to see how badly folks behave over all of this.

Monster Hunter Wilds even getting nominated for best RPG of all things is embarrassing. Obviously that dogshit isn't gonna beat Expedition 33 but the fact they even felt the need to mention it undermines the whole category I feel.
