I'm almost convinced that the Game Awards just hates SNK.

KOF XV losing the 2022 Game Awards to goddamn Multiversus, a game that was just a overhyped cashgrab for Warner Bros that fucking DIED right after its realese just shows how Geoff Keighley's people over the Game Awards don't know shit about fighting games

Mind you, the other nomenees were: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R (a remake), DNF Duel (spinoff of a browser game that even ArcSys seems to have forgoten) and Sifu (as much a "fighting game" as Zelda is a third person shooter when Link is using a bow).

2XKO will win this year over City of the Wolves because fuck you, thats why.

You should’ve seen me get so fucking livid when Spider-Man 2 kept constantly losing to Baldur’s Gate 3 back in TGA 2023. Spider man 2 didn’t win any awards because Geoff rigged the awards in favor of BG3.
