Medabots is probably the only childhood show I can still sit through and watch throughout without ever feeling disconnected to it or getting a nagging feeling that I'm slightly too old to be invested in its story and characters (Digimon Tamers is the only other example that comes to mind).
If I had to think of a single word to describe it, it would be "charming" -- it's a really charming show with a lot of comedic value and even surprisingly engaging storylines that I still want to sit through, even though I know them by heart at this point.
Sadly, I think most of you will tell me that you don't remember Medabots at all, and that's because American networks seemed to have had an ongoing game of hot potato with it, tossing it around until you couldn't find it at all. Luckily, Jetix Latin America treated it with a lot more respect, to the point of airing all three seasons on its network.
But is it really worth it? My nostalgia is powerful, but it isn't really a compelling argument... so, I'll just tell you that my nephews always want to watch it whenever I'm babysitting them (and I do mean always).
