Since I'm planning to buy a Wii for my sixth generation/partial seventh generation fix, I do have a good handle on what games to buy for it first: The EA James Bond games (namely Nightfire and Everything or Nothing), Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II and III, The Conduit, Call of Duty: Finest Hour, fellow James Bond title GoldenEye Reloaded, and the Metroid Prime games, either individually or in their enhanced, ultra rare Trilogy release.

However, There are plenty of other games that I should be playing from the NGC and Wii, so I'd like some suggestions.

Luigi's Mansion, Zak and Wiki, Mario Superstar Baseball, Resident Evil 4, Pikmin... I feel like I could keep going.

I only have one recommendation to give, but it's a good one indeed: MLB Power Pros.

It's probably the best baseball game I have ever played.

I don't know if you're familiar with it (it didn't sell very well, you know?) 🤭

It's an obvious choice, but F-Zero GX has, in my opinion, never been surpassed as a pure racing experience.

There's better racing games out there, but those involve something peripheral to "in your face, pure adrenaline, radical reaction times required" racing. Either they did an open world, or it's a excellent sim for cars, or the destruction elements are real nice, or it's a 'cozy' quiet racing game.

F-Zero GX is like if you could inhale heavy metal music and feel it in your very blood.

When the Gamecube is brought up, there can only ever be two games brought up.

Lost Kingdoms is a duology that's very precious to me. It's ideas are still one of a kind to this day. There is not a single "-like" with this game, it's one of a kind, and two of FromSoftware's greatest games.

Gamecube:
Twilight Princess, Sonic Adventure 1&2, Sonic Mega Collection, Soul Caliber 2, Cel Damage, Budokai 2, Mario Golf, LotR The Third Age, Megaman X Command Mission, Pikmin, Resident Evil 4, Starfox Assault, Skies of Arcadia, Viewtiful Joe, Worms 3D, X-Men Legends

Double down on the Double Lost Kingdom games. THEY ARE AWESOME AND WORTH PLAYING. I don't have many recommended for Gamecube and Wii. Most of the games I enjoy were also on other platforms. Just pick a few and try them yourself, and if you feel like they don't click, ps2 will always be there to comfort you.

If you like RPGs there's Arc Rise Fantasia and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. A great fighting game is Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. For Gamecube there's Skies of Arcadia and the Baten Kaitos Series.

Here are two links to get you started on ideas. It's /v/ again, but I still haven't found a better resource for quick recommendations that isn't "look at the top-rated games by score." Here's the name, here's the genre, here's a quick blurb about it, here's a screenshot.

GameCube
Wii

I'd recommend...
Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg, F-Zero GX, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Gladius, Ikaruga, Mega Man Network Transmission, Mega Man X: Command Mission, Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2, Sonic Adventure DX, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Soulcalibur II, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Tales of Symphonia.

For Wii,
Geometry Wars Galaxies, Goldeneye 007, Guitar Hero 3, Metroid Prime 3, No More Heroes, No More Heroes 2, RedSteel (sorry), Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, Rock Band 2, Sonic and the Secret Rings, Sonic Unleashed, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Tales of Symphonia Dawn of the New World, WiiSports, and WiiSports Resort.

For Wiiware, I've only played Cave Story (probably better elsewhere), Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King, Mega Man 9, and Mega Man 10.

I should note that I already own the Gamecube trilogy of RE games on PC and Xbox, but I will be rebuying their GC versions when I get a Wii. I won't be doing the same for No More Heroes tho because I'm happy with just the PC version.
