PS1 Recommend me PSX games

Good game

Streert Fight Alpha 3. It had the best amount of single player content up until the PSP version. Yet the PS1 and Saturn have the best World Tour mode. The PSP version uses the inferior world tour mode from the dreamcast version.

You could probably put the entire PSX library on a giant dart board and have an 90% chance of hitting something great, another 6% to hit something decent, and the remaining 4% being a mixture of playable or just plain bad.
Also, no "Ape Escape", "Tenchu" or "Tales of" yet?

Jet Moto 2 (I believe the "Champion" edition, or greatest hits version is a slight upgrade in performance)
I deeply respect Jet Moto 2 for being the "anti-racing" game but damn if it isn't hard to recommend
Bugs Bunny Lost in Time
Love that game! Definitely feels close to the actual source material

Here's a couple
-Muppet Monster Adventure
-Wipeout XL

I'm going to hit you with random banger since you don't specify what kind of games you wants.

Thread of Fate (Dewprism in JP) is RPG where you can choose Rue for serious tone in story with his main gameplay being able to morph into enemies, or play as Mint for more whimsical story of the same thread of fate with Rue using the power of magical ring that could fire a shotgun or M249 (not real).

Baroque ~Yuganda Mousou~ (Baroque ~Distorted Delusion~) is a roguelite dungeon crawler with gameplay more similar to King's Field with a twist. The twist is, your VT/HP constantly degenerating, most attack is hard to dodge, and the lore is full of delusional people trying to survive the harsh world with glimmer of hope, or rather, a delusion to keep them alive.
woahhh these look so cool

you do realize Baroque has mad spin-offs this year.
I got excited when I saw the Steam page for the reverse shooter one until I found out that they're really just putting out games from a compilation they made of older games. The most interesting game from it is the ps1 visual novel game Baroque Syndrome. Hopefully that one gets fully translated. They're not new; both the shooter and Syndrome are from 2000. Here's more info on it.

I have to put on my "That guy" hat and suggest Ace Combat 2 and Ace Combat 3 Electrosphere(with translation patch)

Ace 2 is a solid flight action, a bit light on plot but good with replayability, with hidden missions and three endings. It is one of the purest forms of "Airplanes are Rad" you can get, as later instalments lean on plot along with cool planes.

Ace 3 with a translation patch is the hidden ancestor to Drakenguard and Neir, with many of the devs of those games starting with Ace 3, so it has 5 endings, a lot of story, and a bevy of planes depending on the faction. DUE NOTE! the western releases (NTSC and PAL) got the whole plot ripped out of the game. the gameplay is still there, but nothing outside of it. you also get 30 missions and not the 50+ in the JP release. there are two transla

Brave Fencer Musashi, the 1st Parasite Eve (2nd one is good but not like the 1st), Legend of Dragoon.

There are several games listed in the previous posts that have versions for PC which COULD be better than the PS1 ones. Be careful about that. ::agree
