Recommend me movies to relax on Saturday and Sunday

biodome too fits the vibe lol
How about Encino Man? lol
encino man wheeze the juice GIF

When I'm in this mood, I like to throw on a Miyazaki! I'd recommend My Neighbor Totoro or Kiki's Delivery Service, but it's really hard to go wrong with him.

I would say Donnie Darko: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0246578

In 1st watchthrough you relax by trying to figure out WTF is going on.

In 2nd watchthrough you relax by trying to figure out what actually happens.

In 3rd watchthrough you relax by trying to connect all the stuff you learned and figured out.

In 4th watchthrough you relax by trying to pick up what you missed before.

In 5th watchthrough you relax by completely understanding the movie lolol.

I do find Horror movies to be relaxing sometimes, since most of them are so formulaic they don't really create tension, especially the badly written ones because i don't connect with the shallow characters and don't feel bad when they die. So i cant really recommend the Thing, it is too good. Maybe some low stakes trashy Adam Sandler Movie can be relaxing? Jack and Jill is like sleep medication to me. FR to the fifth element is great, watch that.

If you literally wanna relax, watch an animation/Disney movie like Toy Story if you haven’t (you prolly have, but who knows). If you want action and thinking, go for Snowpiercer.

You're into anime - try Mushishi. It's got an extremely slow, deliberate vibe and is usually a pretty mellow experience.

Comedies and animated movies fit the bill pretty well I think

Zoolander

Zoolander 2

All of the Bill & Ted movies (including Face the Music)

How to Train Your Dragon (Original version) - The two sequels are pretty good too

Kung Fu Panda 1 & 2

The Wild Robot

Puss in Boots the Last Wish

Enchanted

The Lego Movie

Speed Racer

The Incredibles

Disney's Hercules

Aladdin (1992)

Tangled

Despicable Me

The Austin Powers trilogy

Black Dynamite is hilarious though some might find its humor a bit offensive I suppose. It's blaxploitation style humor

Tropic Thunder - Again, some might find some of it a bit offensive, but the movie is hilarious. I miss when comedy wasn't so timid and PC.

Kung Fury

My Fair Lady - If you're in the mood for a classic musical

Paperman (2012)

Looney Tunes Back in Action

The Day the Earth Blew up: A Looney Tunes Movie

Who Framed Roger Rabbit

If you don't mind a little bit of drama and over the top action in your "relaxing" movie, I'd recommend RRR. One of the most awesome movies ever made. At least check out the "Naatu naatu" video some time.

I'd say a dumb horror slasher where you can turn your mind off a bit but I'm not sure that's a good recommendation for just anybody ^^;

Adam Sandler is not a good example. Everytime I see the trailer of Pixel I burn in anger and want to kill him :(

"Ernest and Celestine" is a sweet movie about found family. And "A Man Called Ove" is mostly slow and it'll make you cry, so you can rest after crying yourself to sleep. "Ghost Cat Anzu", "The Colors Within", & "Superman (1978)" are all pretty relaxing.

Nah m8, you're not boring anyone, if anything people are excited to recommend movies that aren't horror or blockbusters. Just relax with a couple flicks

It's because nowadays we are getting very stressed and I liked your profile picture, you look like that Popeye's Rival, sorry for the joke Then I'm going to try to watch Superman Meet Me. I'm making a mental note of the list of movies they sent me that I want to do a marathon on Saturday. I study a lot yesterday. I learned about education.Financial
