I do find Horror movies to be relaxing sometimes, since most of them are so formulaic they don't really create tension, especially the badly written ones because i don't connect with the shallow characters and don't feel bad when they die. So i cant really recommend the Thing, it is too good. Maybe some low stakes trashy Adam Sandler Movie can be relaxing? Jack and Jill is like sleep medication to me. FR to the fifth element is great, watch that.

I dunno, I found the thing quite relaxing for some strange reason. Maybe I'm thinking of the mist. Which is the one in the shopping centre?

The blob might be relaxing for some because it moves real slow.
