I decided to create this thread so we can compile the info we found about the cyphered messages sent to some notorious users.

And if we can or want, solve the mysteries and have fun together while doing so, at least that seems the goal of the author of the messages.

Cantarella and I have done some work trying to decipher the message I got. It's not complete and we're not sure if what we have is correct but here it is:

As you can see it's not in English. Apparently MistHunter thought the cipher by itself wasn't hard enough . It could be Misty's native Spanish, Latin or maybe some other Romance language. The message the dating thread got is definitely harder. What we have so far looks like this:

I stopped working on this bc as far as I'm aware, the cipher maker isn't even here to confirm anything? I've seen enough documentaries about the zodiac killer to know that we cannot progress until misthunter sends a boasting letter to the police.

Also I'm still pretty set on some of these characters having more than one meaning. It just feels too good.

-the 'r' symbol looks like an upside down y, with a pattern sometimes appearing of the r symbol + a vowel, which could be 'yo' if this is some spanish dialect
-n symbol could look like M

there's just not enough diversity of characters for these to all have one meaning, i think.

It probably just says "I like butts" in a lot of words. I'm going with that until they come forward to decode it.

Later when I have more time, I will take paper and pencil, and I'll try to decipher what I can.
You don't really need all the details to understand the message, just some common sense, some info like what we got and a bit of guessing.

This game reminded me of an old puzzle magazine from my country.
