Once I saw that the best official version to play this game is the Jaguar one since PSX and Saturn messed up the physics doing it a harder game due to design issues those versions have, how is this version comparissed to those?
Read this Reddit post, the OP goes in depth about it and has a lot of praise for it. But I'll say that the Jaguar version of it is probably the only Jaguar game worth playing. That console had like 50 games and most of them were crap. If you want to be "pure and vanilla" about it then don't play this, but if you want an experience better than the original then totally play this. I know a lot of people are willing to get into fist fights over their precious childhood game being modified in any way at all (even if it's a total improvement) but I'd say this is probably a better way to play it than any other way around. If Rayman had been developed and released in recent years by an indie developer that was skilled and knew what they were doing instead of back in 1995 then this is probably what it would have been like. Except that it still feels how the original does but just improved

It takes way too many liberties to really be comparable to any official Rayman 1 version. Overall is much easier as it severely nerfs the level design and gives you the power ups early on, but it has a sudden difficulty spike right near the end where there is a lot of new content which is arguably not very good imo.
