I'm Ratking, I am a fictional character. I like to draw and write. My boyfriend has gotten me into emulation for a while now and it has been a really interesting journey. The amount of stuff you can learn from playing older or otherwise obscure games is really eye opening, a lot of old games are way more ahead of their time than you'd think.

My personal favorite game I've experienced so far is Illbleed. I am big into horror, weird fiction, cartoons and art. I used to write stuff on the SCP Wiki, which you can see here. I mainly used CDRomance for ROMs and when it made the switch here it took me a while until I decided to actually join because I have a bad problem with procrastination.

The forums seem nice. It's really nice to be here. I'm excited to experience more in the future.

hello ratking. i love rodents. my fursona is a mouse

Rodents are excellent, I think they encompass a fair chunk of me. My username was this way because of an animation I really loved called DOUBLEKING and later on it just became the name of my fursona. I'm kind of happy I came up with them honestly because otherwise I don't know if I'd ever be able to decide on a fursona, I've always had difficulty trying to represent myself in a way that satisfies me. If you're into horror it's a must-check-out I think. Incredibly good campy horror game, I feel like the gameplay and visuals are extremely ahead of their time. It's a little janky and frustrating at points but I feel like that's common for older games with unique concepts like it. I see a lot of its DNA in indie horror games, whether or not that's intentional (I don't think most indie horror game devs have played Illbleed. They should though.)
