So, we all know the term “Nerd” and some of us have either proudly worn that title or maybe been called it in the past.


Now, we’ve all heard the stereotypical nerdy gamer, right? Well, here’s your chance to rate how far you've embraced your inner nerd.


How nerdy are you?

also those are the ranks I chose and the names I came up with.

i dunno how nerdy but i fell for the /g/ meme HARD (bought an old thinkpad, installed gentoo with a hardened custom kernel, encryption yadayada, started wearing casio watches, installed linux on every machine i own, constantly dunk on windows even though i haven't used it in 10 years)

i also just like tinkering with software and hardware, cuz why not :p

Well I am a nerd alright I like the history of animation video games and pop culture the make of this media and I am diving for hidden gems of movies cartoon anime and video games

Some people called me historian than a nerd

well I am probably more from junior to average nerd personally I suppose I was deep inside game forums and listened to many in game theories and lore for hours without end.

I also generally have interest in gaming lore particular Dark Souls that I watched back the day and even Star Wars lore and theories.

Huh, I dunno, I do have some very specific, useless, quirky skills that's guaranteed someone 30 feet away gonna scream "NEEEEEERD" when they hear about it but there has to be people who are more hardcore than me out there soooo below average?

I'm a massive nerd on Monster Hunter and Armored Core, but I refuse to interact with the fandom in any shape or form (or any fandom honestly). But my nerdiness strictly only on the knowledge of Gunlance (MH), and AC1/ACfA only stuff.

A wise man once said, "Give a man Gunlance and he starts blasting. Teach a man Gunlance and he will hate Gunlance. Enlighten a man Gunlance and he will play Aerial Gunlance."

I’d say I’m somewhere around advanced, I tend to hyperfixate on something for months and go down a bunch of rabbit holes and learn the ins and outs of whatever I’m focusing on. I do have a life outside my nerdy obsessions, but it’s working towards a degree in web design which is also nerdy.

I don't know, I love comedy movies and classic Disney series. I love Tom and Jerry, classic cartoons from the 80s and 90s, the PlayStation 2, and various other consoles.

I'd say I'm a Junior to Average nerd. There are things I'm really passionate about but never really delve into it full-on besides being a fan or getting merch every now and then. I do hyperfixate on stuff but loose interest after some time.
