Holy shit that's good, and insanely impressive. I've never heard of this game before but now I'm intrigued!

I finally bought Baldur's Gate 3 this Steam winter sale, and I've been totally addicted to it. Here's a song that stood out to me immediately, I found it to be incredibly beautiful and slightly sad, especially when I read the title. The soundtrack overall has a very old school european fantasy flair to it which I REALLY like:

That is some goooood ol' fashined fantasy world music. Great for romps through the woods with your elf girlfriend to strolling through town looking for a good pub run by a salty old dwarf.

Here's a piece of video game music I like to listen to from time to time. It's the music that plays in Gravity Rush when you're in the Pleasure Quarter. It has a very energetic and jaunty sound to it like swing music. Something you can really snap your fingers to.

Certified classic. It has that unmistakable Silent Hill/Yamaoka vibe that's real nice. Not quite as good as my favourite "You're Not Here" though!

I know this isn't a "Post the ugliest box art" thread, but if it were I'd win:

I listened to the track from start to finish and really liked it. Great sound, composition, and mood! (8.5/10)
I want to share an awesome, high-energy electronic track from Need for Speed: High Stakes. The music really charges you up and is perfect for racing!

9/10, Rom Di Prisco cooked hard in the good ol' days. Always liked this song, made you lock in really hard during a race.

Keeping it in 90's racing games, RIIIIIIIIDGE RACER!

MASTERPIECE
I've never actually played a Ridge Racer game, but I've listened to a lot of the composer's music, especially his dance mixes outside of the games. Reiwa Type 4 was one of my most listened albums last year.

Here's Tekken 7's training music, I was sort of reminded of it from that song:

It's been 11 days, and a large influx of members since then. Maybe a tiny bump is in order? I think this could be a fun activity for everyone to find new cool tunes!
As always, the rules are in the OP. Rate the latest song posted, then post one of your own!
(Sorry in advance if bumping isn't allowed!)

Been a long time since I played Tekken 7 that I had forgotten some of the tracks (except for Heat Haze). Great choice for a training music since it's really chill.
Here's the theme from the NES game of my favourite Marvel character.

Conan delivers with some TIM FOLLIN goodness. Such an insanely talented guy. He really knew how to make the most out of the sound chips of any system he worked with!

Here's some battle theme from the postgame of Pokémon Sword/Shield.
Can you guess who the guest composer is? ;)

It's competent for sure, but it's really not my thing at all. Never been much for that type of music, but I've seen that it fits the game really well. The techno parts are cool.

Here's another one with lyrics:

The Persona/SMT games have really good soundtracks although I'm not big on the games.
Hopefully I'm not breaking a rule by putting another one but check this one out. This one is from Kurohyou on PSP.

Really need to play this game, only know that its a Yakuza spin-off. Theme really suits the series.

Been listening to this again because of the new announcements.

More or less a perfect level music for a classic NES action game. It’s fast, cool and has that great melody throughout.

I love how this sounds like it would be played when you're walking down a city street late at night with nothing but the street lights for company.

I swear, every song on the Ridge Racer Type 4 soundtrack is straight FIRE! 🔥🔥🔥
But One More Win has to be the best and funkiest song that this spectacular racing game has to offer.

9/10 for me. yeah, the RRT4 ost is such a delight. haven't actually played the game yet but i've put the tracks on quite a bit

9/10. Just played this for the first time not too long ago, I love ArcSys' games. Here's one of my favorite tracks from a fighting game.

Holy shit I just got punched in the face with all the nostalgia! My aunt used to play the Battle Arena Toshinden games all the time back in the late 90s. 10/10, take me away with all of those sweet beeps and boops!

Anyway, here's Buck Bumble

7/10, catchy af, too bad it doesn't have quite the variety I would want, especially from a track like that. Either way, here's some FUNK.

5/10 very serviceable and does its job but definitely one of naganumas more standard and plain tracks
