How it`s RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army? I want to buy it on Switch 2 but I`m not sure it`s worth it.

The game is worth it, on Switch 2 it's not. You will get a game-key card, together with the PC version those are the only platforms you have digital only option.

I would suggest you get the Switch version, everything on cart, then use it with your Switch 2. If you keep supporting Switch 2 game-key card games when you have original Switch option available, you're fucking up all people who bought it.

The only way to force Nintendo to remove that crap is all people get the original Switch version of games when able.

As much as i like Sega/Atlus games, greed of those companies knows no bounds

Well, at least is not a lazy remaster, like FFXII for instance. But you're right, I didn't think about its price as I bought the japanese PS4 version, which is around 32€ + delivery. In my country I think it's around 50€, but in Europe they didn't care about the PS4 version, so I am not buying it here.

I'm not against remasters but i feel like those remasters in new engine are just an excuse to resell game for full price
I remember when Sega ported persona 4 and valkyria chronicles on steam both cost 20$ and was massive success
Persona 4 sold more than million copies and VC was so successful it resurrected whole franchise, even if it was only for short time
Too bad Sega learned all the wrong lessons from those successes

Yeah, totally agree. Industry is now so greedy that they will always try to play with your nostalgia to get to your wallet. And as you say, that is really bad publicity for very good games, but I think when they do is because they don't care. For them is just like the game "bait the hook".

Honestly I wasn't much of a fan of the original Raidou. People say Atlus fixed the combat and encounters, but even then I can't see myself replaying it. The whole game felt kind of lazy with all these reused "dark world" version of every area with magical walls that forced you to go through the longest path, also the story, which started interesting, went in a very meh direction in my opinion. Even the soundtrack which is great got so repetitive.

Denuvo. Everything by Atlus and SEGA got Denuvo, and unlike Capcom and Square-Enix, ATLUS AND SEGA DO NOT REMOVE DENUVO FROM THEIR GAMES, WITH VERY FEW EXCEPTIONS.
Some cases, such as SMTVV, Metaphor and some Persona games, had cracks because errors: SMTVV and Metaphor they used the demo exe to unlock the full game, some Persona games had their denuvoless EXE released by mistake.

Dang, I'm actually planning to play the PS2 version before long, but this is a big plus... if the battles turn out to be a drag I'll probably have to switch.

just started it today on pc. runs great on my rig, gameplay is fun, and i dig the detective aspect of it all. i own the two ps2 games but never got around to playing them so its fun to have it remade and avoid the jank og combat ive heard about.

bruh im just tryna play video games. dont care about whatever the gamer crusade of the year is. denuvo has never once given me a problem and if it ever does, ill refund the game and move on with my life lol its video games man, not some human rights crusade

the game itself is pretty fun. Raidou always was one of the more stylish atlus protags and i do love the setting. the more Atlus can get away from the Hashino game design style, the happier ill be. so hopefully they keep revisiting their older IPs (DDS pleeeease)
