Racing Lagoon Help

I'm really enjoying Racing Lagoon at thr minute; i'm still in night 1 with a 197ps car and a 4.2/ps weight ratio so it accelerates fast and hits a decent top speed because the encounters are pretty fun.

I'm struggling TERRIBLY with the 60ps UnOfficialRace in the test track though. I have the lightest car available to me (745kg) and the only engine i could find with a low enough power (52ps) all the part of which were harvested off the same green car (sorry, buddy). And I'm being totally blown away by the competition on both acceleration and top speed. It's [Crazy Driving] out here for an [Unknown Warrior] like me.

I like Racing Lagoon a lot but I don't remember this offhand. Shame that guy who always posted essays and said 'lolol' a lot isn't here any more, he could probably give you the exact everything you need.

Oooh that guide might help, but it doesnt list the race I'm struggling on ahaha

It's been a while since the last time I played but iirc you can complete those races during just about any night. Later on you'll get lighter parts and there might be a better engine too. Weight reduction kits also show up later so don't sweat it if you can't complete an unofficial race as soon as it's available.
