I know the goal as a Completionists is to collect everything Trophy/Archivement Weapons/Armor Endings and so on in a Game.
But what game as a Completionist or a simple Trophy Hunter broke you, wich Game was so difficult or Insane to Archive everything that you said fuck it its not worth it.

I remember kinda giving up on Mirror's Edge. I had to stop because I was going on a vacation, but I was not feeling like going back.

On the other side I gained so much love for MGS5 by completing it, that it became my favorite game in the series. Don't tell anyone. ::raymanknows

I've had numerous ones like that. I'm not a hardcore completionist but as I play, I tend to look at every nook and cranny to see if there are extra items or a secret just off the beaten path and that often gets me most of the trophies by the end of the game, leaving just some stragglers.

But the very first game to break me was assassins creed 2. I did everything else in the game but the final trophy was to collect all the feathers in the game. items that are hard to see and are not shown on the map. and there are over 200 of them!!! Yeah, nope!
Same deal with the arkham games. You want me to collect all the riddler trophies? Talk to the hand!!

But one recent example is Anno Mutationem. an interesting & pretty fun game. I didn't get all the trophies for that game because it was literally bugged to the point where it was impossible. One of the trophies involved collecting special cat items in the game. It even tells you how many you have collected and how many there are in the game... except in my playthrough, one of them never registers so I'm stuck at 23 of 24 cats collected even though I have collected all 24!!

Demon's Souls - Obtaining a fully upgraded weapon using Bladestone.

In order to get this you need a Pure Bladestone which has a base drop rate of 0.1% from one enemy. I only completed trophy's for games I really liked so I wanted to finish this one. I tried for days, hours at a time, and got nothing. Tried it again years later and still nothing. I gave up.

Zelda: Breath of The Wild:

Too,,,
Many,,,
Stuff,,,

Eventually i just settled to get what i could and beat the game with what i could get

Banjo Tooie and Donkey Kong are also contenders, they are fine for casual gameplay, but 100% will make you want to jump from a window

Not a game in particular, but for example when you have to repeat something you already did (and it was difficult) to achieve a better time/score, or when you have to raise affinity between lots of characters but you should spend hours and hours doing so and you have already completed main and side stories... that's when I say
fuck it its not worth it.

When playing on Vita (only games where there were trophies, for me), I usually tried to got most of them them IF I felt like I could go out of my way to, say, do all side-quests or trying to break some record, or maybe do silly things like dying 10 times. If they asked me too much, I just felt fine with the ones I achieved and moved on.

Metal Gear Rising no damage S rank run. Not clear what gives penalty or in general prevents S rank but I "kinda" randomly managed to get S rank for everything but as a result I lost all my hair lolol.

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5 didn't break me, but it did break my PS3. lol I am still proud i cleared everything event the harder difficulties.

It was almost Shinobi for the PS2, but I eventually triumphed. Trying to S rank the final level on the hardest difficulty had me praying to the gaming gods. The last boss was a bitch

When I saw the 7 day survivor achievement requirements for Dead Rising I went

You have to realize that if you mess up you've essentially wasted an entire day. This is one of the reasons I generally stay away from survival horror games even though I think it's a fun genre. It's because of annoying things like this or the ranking requirements for Resident Evil games.

It didn't break me, but one of the most nerve racking things I've ever done in a game was getting Lulu's ultimate weapon in Final Fantasy X. The lightning strike challenge. Ugh, what a pain.

The Final-Final Test in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. I eventually cheesed it with Yoshi, but I feel like legit beating it requires using one of the regular characters. Using Yoshi kind of feels like cheating. Some players just decided to get it in multiplayer where other players can help you, which again is kind of cheating. One thing I still haven't done though is getting a perfect score in the end credits mini-game.

Final Fantasy IX - I consider myself a Final Fantasy completionist, but I find having to speed run an rpg abhorrent, so I'm never going to try and get Excalibur II. FF 9 is my least favorite entry in the franchise.

Completionism got ruined for me when the PS3/360 era introduced achievement systems. No longer was it enough to explore all the levels and collect all the items. Now you had to do super tedious bs like "Jump 10,000 times" all in the name of a virtual trophy displayed on your account. Such a lame way for developers to squeeze playtime out of people.

Playing the Game fully and ending the Main Campaign
Game Completion 80% or even lower

and that for a very long Game it kind of feels like a joke at times with so much additional side content.

That's one of the reasons I mainly game on the Switch 1 these days. As someone who has a completionist mindset not having to deal with stuff like that or crazy things like Dead Rising's 7 Day Survivor achievement means less stress for me.

Super Mario Galaxy 2: The True final Galaxy with the stupid one hit death! I geared up with 99 lives, but the darn 1 hit death gimmick has to be in the way and I couldn't pass the annoying hammer bros. What's worse is if you get hit once at any other part of the level, you have to start the whole level all over again. I got so angry, I nearly broke my Wii Remote. Whoever programmed it like that needs to be beaten up because Mario games are kids games.

Super Mario Sunshine: The Blue coins of death to obtain more Shine Sprites to 100% the game. Thank goodness for Sunburn and Eclipse.

Somehow I didn't even realize that the Switch lacked achievements. Go figure! I agree with you. It's a blessing in disguise for us completionist types. I do tend to play that or 3DS more than my other modern systems.

The one game I'll never 100% in terms of achievements is probably the Halo MCC LASO achievements, you can never ask me to torture myself with playing LASO in general and especially Halo 2 LASO with how hellish the game is on Legendary is to begin with. I love Halo but I'll stick to multiplayer for fun CBT.

Also FF VII Rebirth in general cause doing hard mode in the Remake games is already annoying unless you are prepared but doing the challenges in general is just a nightmare, especially the final challenges that just made me wanna focus on other games at the time like Metaphor. I'll probably get back on it sooner or later but I know I'll hate it with how infuriating those challenges are.

Just a question how hard is it to 100% Tales of Berseria I probably have to start a new game plus after finishing I guessed as much but besides that how hard would it be ?.
Also what is the easiest and what is the hardest Tales of Game to 100% ?

like in Dark Souls or was it another game I don't quite remember the one you get for your first death so that everyone knows how long it took you before you died in the Game.

Easiest is probably tales of Xillia... because I did it. It required you to basically play through the game twice and grind the secret dungeon a little while playing every character to level them up but it's achievable and not too much of a stretch. The story and game being pretty good helps too.

For hardest... I hear Symphonia remaster requires you to play through the game 7 (yes, seven!) times in order to complete the collect-a-thon trophy they have in there. Zesteria is also a pretty hard one cos that game is not fun AT ALL!

Agarest and the Hyperdimension Neptunia (PS3, not the Rebirth ones) trilogy. Yes, I hate those games but I just might hate myself more.
I later 100%ed the Rebirth Nep-Nep games on PC.

I grinded all they way to the "true" ending for PS3 neptunia on my first run... I can't remember how I did it tho. after that, the remaining trophies were easy.
