I'm a huge Psyvariar 2 fan, for a while I had THE only review on youtube of the game
not plugging this just sharing, it's a very old video
I also love Psyvariar 1, especially Delta, I played it a ton on Switch, tho I own the first game on PS2 as well.
I was very underwhelmed when I first saw footage of Psyvariar 3, so now that I bought it I'm loving it a lot more, it has a lovely atmosphere no doubt about that, but what's with the ship designs? How did we go from the beautiful, graceful, slick mechs of Psyvariar 2 and the nice ships of the first game to a literal toaster with guns/
Also the level with the pink clouds and the floating islands looks like something straight out of a sloppy TwinBee AI remake, tho other levels and areas are very nice.
I have mixed feelings about the game's aesthetics, very mixed feelings
but gameplaywise for now it's a ton of fun
I recorded this footage to post here and how my friend, it's unlisted
I really like the design in this level
The game is more similar to Psyvariar 2 where you get the same level but different difficulties the higher level you are rather than different levels like Psyvariar 1/delta
