PS2 games with sad or unusual endings

I'd like some games that are sad, have sad endings, or have a deep and unusual storyline, so I can try them out.
I want to try this type of game if there is one like it.

In "Stella Deus" sometimes I found myself questioning if the villain was a villain for real... or maybe was he right, somehow? Maybe it's just me, but I found it quite deep as plot (and I've enjoyed it a lot, though I needed a guide to recruit every character).

Since we are talking about PS2 games here, then I'll recommend the Fatal Frame trilogy. 3rd game in particular has the most relatable and sad story out of them imo. Also Echo Night: Beyond is worth checking.
