Votoms (TV) and Votoms (OVAs) are my first and second favorite anime respectively (I keep them separate because I like the TVs Lore and mystery a bit better), so I am PSYCHED for this.

Unfortunately, that guy also has a history of posting a.i. slop into his videos, and is an a.i. advocate, he didn't even ask some hackers and professional translations to do the work on this game, so i assume he just used a.i. chatbots to hack the game and translate the script

I will provide you examples of it's code as well as how misplaced and unnatural the translations are

spite is among the best fuel out there, maybe some jackass gets pissed off enough about it that he "does it right" and releases a proper 100% hand-done english patch

Normally, I would say "AI slop."

But when I get to play the game I've lusted over for almost two decades, it suddenly becomes "the sum of human ingenuity and wit, poured into a massive computer database, which is then allowed to dream."

Complaining about a guy who brought you a way to play a video game is worse than pointless. I'd rather we talk about AI Slop Guy in a positive fashion, because, like, Another Century's Episode 3 isn't going to translate itself, and they just might.
