PS1 PS1/PS2 Hidden Gems?

It warms my heart to see Shadow Hearts get more recognition.
My suggestion is Sky Gunner released by ATLUS. It's a fun and surprisingly in-depth flight shooter with great visuals even today.

I can't recommend the movie it's based on but this is a fantastic hack and slash game. You can unlock multiple versions of Ghost Rider and Blade. There's also unlockable Ghost Rider comics you can read.

I played Ace Combat 3 Electrosphere recently and I had a blast!
It's anime meets fighter jets, right up my alley! Also loved the branching paths and the narrative.

I recommend Advanced VG 1 and 2 for PS1.
If you like fighting games and anime with an all-girls character roster you will love it!

One downside is that they are not translated yet, but since it's a fighting game, it's not a deal breaker, all the menus are in English.

Most of my ideas have already been suggested, so let's go with Fluid (PS1).
Hopefully it wasn't mentioned here earlier xD

I would recommend it for fans of electronic music, especially those who listen to ambient and breaks. It's an aquatic themed music maker. Think of Music 2000 but more abstract. It's a good distraction and you can make decent songs with it.
I'm almost certain that I read about another project by the same devs, but I don't recall any information.

I'm aware of other aquatic games for PS1 and PS2 but I still need to check them out.
Things like Aquanaut's Holiday, Everblue, Treasures of the Deep...

Not too bad of an ARPG its kind of like Bladurs Gate Dark Alliance or Champions of Norrath.

my favorite game on ps2 is a game called Ring of Red.

a seemingly simple little strategy. yet i've played it through so many times. and i can return to its world again and again.
i really like the design of the game, the alternative world. so i guess its atmosphere sucked me in.
i can only recommend it.
and thank you for all the suggestions to the commenters. because i found so many interesting things that i didn't know about (because they are hidden gems ;-) ) but i became very curious about them

I always wanted to play this game but I never got around to it. Do you know this game here and do you have experience with it?

This one is quite controversial when it came out. Media outlets labeled this game as a “bully simulator” but in fact it’s the opposite.
You play as James “Jimmy” Hopkins as you rise through the ranks in order to stop bullying.

Pretty good game. Although my question is. Do we have a thread related to Manhunt on here?

I adore it.

But it doesn't like me.

I can't decompress it on Android (over 4GBs) and my original PS2 disc was... well-loved, so it doesn't work no more.
I'm still using Android 9 but it doesn't work for me anymore either no idea why. I can't find it in the Google Play Store anymore .
