Ubisoft cancels Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake and more as part of company-wide reset​

Was anyone excited for this? They certainly took their sweet time with it and rebooted it, like.. 3 times?
They also cancelled 6 games and laid off a bunch of people last week

Wonder if that black flag remake was cancelled as well. Also, did the deal for Tencent to buy out Ubisoft ever go through? Regardless Ubisoft has needed a reset for years, and less remakes in development is always a good thing in my book.

So, the Prince of Persia series has become so convoluted that the reboot of the franchise is getting a remake after having already been rebooted....TWICE!!!
