Pretty excited for Bubsy 4D tomorrow

Okay, so we all know that Bubsy is kinda infamous for having some mediocre to downright horrendous games in the past, right? But ever since both the trailer and demo of 4D, I have a feeling that the bobcat is making a proper comeback, especially when it's being developed by the same people who made Demon Turf.

So I pre-ordered the game before it drops tomorrow, and I am pretty excited about it.

What were anyone else's thoughts on it?

I watched some gameplay videos of the game, and wow, the dialogue in this game is fucking hilarious. The gameplay looks really fun and smooth. I'm hyped, ngl

The thing about Bubsy is that the originals were also quite poor...so any redemption wouldn't be that difficult.

Enjoyed the demo so I bought a physical copy even though it was way overpriced compared to digital ($50 physical, $20 digital).

He was always a good mascot, but I feel that the entire budget that should have cemented his legacy went into licensing fees and developer kits for various systems, leaving the teams tasked with making him shine with nothing but crumbs and crunch times.

Hopefully, this one will prove that it wasn't never a matter of quality.

I tried the demo, and found it functionally to be a good game. But it felt kind of... plain? Flat? Empty? Maybe it just wasn't a good demo, but I was left not feeling excited to purchase.
