Posting Images differs between fourms and Conversations/Direct Messages

Posting Images requires a link when you're sending them in Direct Messages/Conversations as opposed to posting the image directly everywhere else in the forums. The latter appears when you're about to post/reply to a forum post, and post/reply to a profile post.

Replying in a forum (Drop Image)

That's most likely to save on Server space. and to keep Rather unwanted pictures from being easily passed around... you know the kind
The mod's can't control whats sent Via DM <Less reported> so, safer that way.

Well as you can't do attachments in DM's, it automatically removes image attachments too....

While space constraints do make sense i think it's privacy concerns, as all attachments should/are downloadable by everyone; But if there's something super sensitive (or illegal), that could cause issues and easier to just disallow it.

At least i'm assuming that's how it works....
